Remodeling Project Details:

Located in the Briarcliff South Fort Myers neighborhood known for its large, wooded lots and estate-style homes—this 40-year-old cedar-sided residence with a guest bath last updated two decades ago. We discovered an old, non-impact window had leaked and caused rot in the exterior wall. We carefully removed the damaged section, repaired the wall, and matched the cedar siding so flawlessly you’d never know it was replaced.

Inside, we swapped the dated tub for a stunning walk-in shower framed in minimal hardware and crystal-clear, frameless glass. Every door is hung on commercial-grade pivot hinges, not the cheaper wall-mount style—pivot hinges operate smoothly, carry greater weight, and won’t sag or fail just after the warranty expires. That’s why we specify them on every shower we build. We also installed a new impact-rated window to keep this bathroom dry and secure for decades to come.

To complete the transformation, we added a modern hardwood vanity, wood-look flooring, and floor-to-ceiling shower tile, topped with level 5 polished granite. A 62″ × 40″ mirror will be mounted once final finishes cure.
