Old crank windows were leaking AC. They were converted to picture frame screen walls with no chair rail to block the view. This created a more open feeling space. The client upgraded to super no seeeum screens to keep the bugs out. These are screens that are made with a very fine mesh, which makes it difficult for bugs to get through. This can help to keep the home bug-free.

Crank windows are windows that are opened and closed by a crank mechanism. They are often found in older homes very common in SWFL. They are not energy efficient.
